We handle your data responsibly
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy. This privacy policy informs users of the website www.innsbruck.info
(hereinafter referred to as “website”) about the nature, scope, and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by Bergbahnen Kühtai (hereinafter referred to as “operator”).
Personal data (e.g. name, email address, telephone number) will only be processed and transmitted by the operator in a lawful manner – in particular for the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations, based on the overriding legitimate interests of the operator, or on the basis of the user’s consent.
The legality of the data processing results from the Austrian Data Protection Act as well as from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The legal basis is specified for each of the processing activities listed below.

Display of the Website
The operator continuously optimizes the presentation and services offered to users of the website. To better understand how the pages are used, the operator temporarily stores the following data each time the website is accessed: name of the accessed website, requested file, date/time, transferred data volume, notification of successful retrieval, browser type/version/language, operating system, previously visited page, duration of stay, country of origin, and IP address.
By visiting this website, the user provides implied consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR to the storage of the device’s IP address. The user’s IP address will be deleted 12 months after use of the website has ended.

When contacting the operator (for example via contact form or email), the following user details may be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions: title, first and last name, postal address, email address, telephone number, as well as data relevant to the inquiry (e.g. period of stay, number of persons).
The personal data collected in this way will be deleted by the operator within 12 months after completion of the request. The personal data provided by the user will only be processed and used by the operator to the extent necessary for handling the request and/or providing the requested service.

In the course of this data processing, the operator may forward the collected personal data to the following third parties:

Depending on the inquiry or booking, only those personal data necessary for the requested service will be passed on to member businesses (landlords) or the Innsbruck Tourist Board and its holiday villages. The specific members may vary from case to case.
Data processing is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the fulfillment of a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures.

We remain responsible for the protection of your data even when involving data processors. Processors outside the European Union are only engaged if an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for the relevant third country or if suitable safeguards or binding internal data protection regulations are in place with the processor.

Server Log Files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:

Browser type / version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Time of the server request

These data cannot be assigned to specific persons. A combination of this data with other data sources will not be carried out. We reserve the right to subsequently review this data if we become aware of concrete indications of unlawful use.

Social Media Plugins for even more information
The operator uses so-called “embedded” social media plug-ins (interfaces to social networks) on the website. When visiting the website, the system automatically establishes a connection with the respective social network due to the integration of the plug-ins and transmits data (IP address, website visit, etc.).
This data transmission occurs without any action by and outside the responsibility of the operator. Users can prevent this transmission by logging out of the respective social networks before visiting the website. Only when “logged in” can the social network assign specific data to the user’s activity profile through automatic data transfer.
The automatically transmitted data is used exclusively by the operators of the social networks and not by the operator of this website. Further information can be found directly on the website of the relevant social network, where privacy settings can also be adjusted.

The social networks embedded on the website are:

Facebook Plugins
Plugins of the social network Facebook (provider: Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA) are integrated on our pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our page. An overview of Facebook plugins can be found here: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We point out that as providers of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook account.

Instagram Plugins
Functions of the Instagram service are integrated into our pages. These services are provided by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We point out that as providers of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram. Further information can be found in Instagram’s privacy policy: instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/

YouTube Plugins
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, a Google-operated service. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is thereby informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your browsing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
